Prominent boutique Cleveland Law firm is expanding their Columbus office. Newly created position for a Sr. Associate who is an Experienced Trial Attorney. The successful Attorney must have a minimum of 6 years experience managing multiple cases simultaneously at all stages of litigation. Significant briefing experience, effective use of the discover process and first chair trial and appellate oral argument experience. As a Sr. Associate, must take charge, possess excellent interpersonal skills, have a strong work ethic, attention to detail and thorough case management skills. Strong organizational skills, technical abilities, and electronic document experience. Must provide specific listing of project experience whether it is plaintiff or defense experience. Newly created position for an associate attorney with litigation experience. 3-6 years of defense experience and must have had a couple of jury trials in NE Ohio. Litigate and defend both tort/negligence actions and coverage disputes. Possess good knowledge of claim values particularly bodily injury claims and good knowledge of the laws of negligence and allied fields insurance contracts and their interpretation. Maintain pending and closed litigation files in an efficient, professional and standardized (both electronic and paper files). Good analytical organizational legal research and communication skills, knowledge of Windows suite of products (Word Excel Outlook etc.). Must have a good driving record -as he/she will have a company car and be doing some traveling around NE Ohio, exceptional benefit package.
